A conventional style of management is the imbalance allocation of over all costs. This can be dangerous for businesses. e.g Decreasing internal failure cost increases external failure cost which means a lot of products will either not conform to the standards or will simply incur rework, failing which means these products will be scraped! Which further means less products being sent out to the market hence loosing marketshare and your competitor will own the place.

Of course this doesn't happen over night but it can be seriously dangerous for businesses in the long run. So what point I'm trying to make here? -management should not only focus on cutting down costs.
